FUN JUMPING SHOWS
The fun jumping shows at Hillside Farm organized by Debbie & Phill have grow in popularity due to the fact that there is such a friendly atmosphere together with encouragement and assistance permitted inside and outside the ring. Nobody is eliminated for two plus stops or for involuntary dismounts instead they are encouraged to complete the course with expert help on hand if they have real difficulties. Every rider getting into jump the off gets a rosette and sweets.
The whole point of these shows is to encourage the truly novice riders. At each show there are always a number of riders having their very first attempt at competition. To add to the atmosphere, spectators are jokingly threatened with a fine if they fail to applaud the riders. This all makes for a really super atmosphere with the riders and spectators alike enjoying a real fun day.

BIGGER FUN JUMPING
These are run the same as our Fun jumping shows just with bigger fences!! Classes from 1' 9' - 3' plus clear round jumping. All classes are qualifiers for the British Showjumping Championships held at the David Broome Event Centre, Crick, Wales. Jump at double clear and you have qualified!! Collect your registration card from the secretary at the end of the class.
